On behalf of board of directors, it gives me a great pleasure to welcome you to Middle East and North Africa Hematology League. MENA hematology League has announced on January 21st, 2019. Licensed as non-profit organization in united Kingdome (England and wales) 11777391. Based in London (120 Baker Street, Westminster, London W1U 6TU, United Kingdom). League has founded by 12 hematologists from 11 MENA countries. To date 17 countries has been represented in the league. MENA hematology League managed by a board of directors representing MENA countries. League bylaws based on world health organization bylaws with application of temporary exceptional bylaws for the first 3-5 years till establishment of full who based bylaws.

Achievements

2019

 The MENA Hematology League conducted its first congress on 1-4 February 2019 at AlMadinah, Saudi Arabia, under the patronage and opening by his royal highness Prince Faisal bin Salman, governor of AlMadinah. There were 1200 attendees, more than 90 speakers, and 300 abstracts.

2020

Madinah-Cairo hematology forum, 25-28 March 2020, attended by 500 attendees. The MENA Hematology Congress 2020 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has been suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions

2021

MENA Hematology Congress 2021 in Mukalla, Yemen. May 28th to June 1st, under the patronage and opening speech by his excellency Mr. Qasem Bohibeh, Minister of Health, Yemen. A 360o virtual. There were 16,287 attendees, representing 58 countries, with more than 64 speakers.

  1. MENA Hematology Congress 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, October 26th - 28, under the patronage and opening speech by His Excellency Mohammad AlAbdulal, Minister of Health Assistant, Saudi Arabia. There were 1347 attendees, representing 32 countries, with more than 140 speakers and 109 abstracts.
